Bungendore gallery, return of Susie Dureau

Little Breath detail by Susie Dureau

SYDNEY ARTIST Susie Dureau returns to Bungendore to open an exhibition of new works entitled The Architecture of Light. This body of work examines light as a subject and entity unto itself rather than an assumed component in the illumination of other subjects.

The much-anticipated show, which follows a sell-out exhibition with the gallery in 2016, sees Dureau expand on her well-established themes of light, the physical environment and the intangible.

In support of drought affected farmers, Susie & the gallery have decided to raffle a painting over the duration of the exhibition with 100 percent of raffle ticket proceeds going to registered drought relief charity Buy a Bale. And the painting going to one lucky person.

The exhibition will run at Suki & Hugh Gallery from 18 August–30 September 2018.

An opening reception will be held from 3–5pm on Saturday 18 August. All welcome.

IMAGE SUPPLIED: Susie Dureau, Little Breath, (detail). Oil on linen, 20 x 25cm, 2018.
